First Dzanga-Sangha Day Story

DSPA, a Central African Republic pride, center of socio-economic development

Enjoy reading about celebrating the Dzanga-Sangha Protected Area (DSPA) –  a transboundary UNESCO World Heritage Site where biodiversity conservation, scientific research, training, cultural heritage and socio-economic development come together.

After a ceremonial welcome of the government delegation by the population, the delegation officially inaugurated the following milestones of the work in DSPA:

  • the Bayanga One Health Laboratory
  • the Bayanga Stadium
  • the new Bayanga Secondary Hospital Building and
  • the PAPA House the new community center for the local organisations.

Other activities like meeting of the Head of State with community leaders, Ba’Aka chiefs, civil society and administrative authorities of the TNS and other delegations at the PAPA House,

visits of  Dzanga Bai, Radio Ndjokou and many more were organzied.
